About Visual99

I was trained to think about space. How it is built, how it functions, how people move through it. After years in institutional design, I left the 9-to-5 thinking I would start a marketing agency.

I kept coming back to space. Not branding. Not campaigns. The actual, physical environment. What you see when you walk into a building. What you feel. That is how Visual99 started.

When you are designing for someone who lives in a care home, you are not decorating a building. You are shaping the environment they wake up in every day. The graphics on the walls. The wayfinding cues that help them find their room. The feeling of a common room that makes them want to sit down instead of walk past it.

These things affect how residents orient themselves. Whether they feel comfortable. Whether a space feels like somewhere they belong. That is quality of life, not aesthetics.
